Process Engineering – Junior Engineer

REQUIREMENT:
Candidate must possess at least good engineering or applied sciences bachelor degree.
Preferably fresh graduates major in:
Electrical/Electronic engineering
Chemistry/Chemical engineering
Physics/Solid State Device
Mechanical engineering
The potential candidate must have first and foremost the mental toughness, a team player, must be capable of self learning and willing to work hard to expand their knowledge.
Ability to work independently, initiative and diligently with good analytical skills.
Responsible, reliable and able to work within tight schedule and meet deadlines independently.
Knowledge of research methodology, statistical analysis and design of experiment will be an added advantage.
Must be computer literate, MS Windows, Excel, Word, etc.
Language: English and Bahasa Melayu.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status


JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Working in silicon solar cells fabrication manufacturing environment.
Report to staff or senior process engineers, working closely with manufacturing supervisors/specialists, process technicians, equipment technicians to sustain production line.
Provide first level engineering support for any yield or process issue.
Involve in value engineering projects, i.e.: cost reduction, second source material qualification, new line startup activity and development project by R&D group.
Will be the core team of SunPower’s SPC team.
Comprehensive training will be provided.
